We would like to invite everyone to the Open Day on 3rd October 2015 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the Filmhaus at Potsdamer Platz.
• Guided tours around the dffb, the sound-mixing studio, post-production and grading suite
• Demonstration of cameras and lighting equipment (with kind support from ARRI)
• A selection of films produced at the dffb will be screened in the cinema: seminar films, short films, documentaries and feature films. And there will also be an opportunity to talk with lecturers and with students about their films and the making-of process. The detailed programme is available here
• Students explain how film editing works in our editing suite.
If you are interested in studying at the dffb, you can attend one of several sessions giving advice to prospective students.
Our lecturers Andres Veiel, Michael Bertl, Peter Rommel and Jochen Brunow will be available for specific expert advice sessions relating to the dffb’s departments of directing, cinematography, production and screenwriting.
In addition, the dffb’s Production Managers invite guests to discover answers to the question “How are films made?” You can also find out more about our international programmes and programmes such as Serial Eyes and Up.Grade
