The anniversary edition of the Hof International Film Festival has drawn to a close and SCHULTERSIEG/WIN BY FALL (Director: Anna Koch, Screenplay: Anna Koch, Julia Lemke, Cinematography: Julia Lemke, Production: Jolanka Höhn, Romana Janik) will be heading home with a wonderful accolade: it has won this year’s Documentary Film Prize!

The dffb isn’t the only one turning 50 this year: on 25th October the 50th Hof International Film Festival (25-30.10.2016) will begin and four dffb productions are screening at this special anniversary festival.

Our annual Open Day is coming up on Saturday.
In addition to advice on the study courses available, there will also be an opportunity to find out more about our post-graduate programmes Serial Eyes and Up.Grade, and about the recently established Filmnetzwerk Berlin. We will also be showing a film programme in our cinema with short films by our students. Coffee, cakes, drinks and snacks will be available in our café.
