HOMEWORK nominated for the 2016 German Short Film Award

Yesterday evening Monika Grütters, Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, announced the 12 nominees for the 2016 German Short Film Award and we are delighted that HOMEWORK (Director/Screenplay/Production: Annika Pinske, Cinematography: Ben Bernhard) is nominated in the “Feature Films (up to 7 minutes long)” category.

On the Short Film Prize:

“Winners of the German Short Film Award in Gold are also awarded prize money of up to 30,000 Euro and nominees are awarded prize money of up to 15,000 Euro. The nomination cash prize accorded to the winner of the German Short Film Award in Gold is offset against the main cash prize awarded to the winner. The prize money for the Special Award in Gold is up to 20,000 Euro. The prize money is intended to contribute to production of a new film with artistic merit.”

We will be keeping our fingers crossed on 17th November at the award ceremony in Munich!
