Michael Ballhaus Award 2004
In Kino Arsenal on February 6, 2005, the Michael Ballhaus Award was given for the second time.
The jury, consisting of Michael Ballhaus, Helga Ballhaus, Christel Buschmann and Reinhard Hauff, chose to award the prize to cinematography student Max Penzel for the films TAG 26 and RED GOURMET PELLZIK (both directed by Andreas Samland).
The prize was 3.000 EUR prize money and gift certificates in value of 15.000 EUR total from Arri und Cinegate.
The Michael Ballhaus Award Ceremonies in 2005 were supported by ARRI, CINEGATE, FGV und KODAK.

Born 1977. 1999-2005 Student of cinematography at the dffb. 2001-2002 Scholarship to the International Film School in Lodz (Poland).
