Animation Artist needed for a Documentary

Hi there, I’m the director of the documentary ‚No Way to Say Goodbye‘. Together with the film editor and creative producer, we’re looking for an animation artist, who’s up for a challenge! We’d like to develop a short video, to explore a narrative that combines animation and documentary images.
We imagine a rather analogue aesthetic, where the texture and the line of the drawing are highlighted. It could be both dreamlike and poetic but still giving a documentary dimension to the animated images. The end video will be around 2mins and it will be used to apply for film funding.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a budget yet and can’t offer a fee for the animation work on this video. However, we’re actively applying for funding and hoping to have a confirmed budget by the end of this year. We’re a fun, international team and are looking for a long-term artist animator, to finalise the film together. Another bonus is that the project is already gaining exposure through its participation in international pitching.
If you, or someone you know, would be interested to get involved, please let us know or send us your work samples that represent your style to the email address given in the post. I’d be also happy to send you more information about the film.
Thanks for your time!
