THE REVOLUTION WILL BE TELEVISED:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 a con\u00adfer\u00adence by the rbb and the DFFB<\/p>\n

In debates on the future of pub\u00adlic tele\u00advi\u00adsion, cer\u00adtain peo\u00adple have already writ\u00adten off TV as we know it\u2014and see the aging pub\u00adlic as proof of this\u2014while oth\u00aders like to com\u00adplain that broad\u00adcast\u00aders are no longer ful\u00adfill\u00ading their pro\u00adgram\u00adming man\u00addate. The first per\u00adspec\u00adtive is rife with res\u00adig\u00adna\u00adtion, the oth\u00ader is focused on the past. Where is the pas\u00adsion and zest for new and young audi\u00adences? Of course, there are works by new tal\u00adents and exper\u00adi\u00adments with new for\u00admats in order to win a younger audi\u00adence to pub\u00adlic pro\u00adgram\u00adming.<\/p>\n

The con\u00adfer\u00adence THE REVOLUTION WILL BE TELEVISED, a coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion between the rbb and the DFFB, will focus on these future per\u00adspec\u00adtives: How can young film\u00admak\u00aders and the medi\u00adum of tele\u00advi\u00adsion work togeth\u00ader to attract a younger demo\u00adgraph\u00adic? Which for\u00admats and nar\u00adra\u00adtive forms can be (fur\u00adther) devel\u00adoped to arouse the audience\u2019s curios\u00adi\u00adty towards the many facets and pos\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties of the mov\u00ading image?<\/p>\n

The one-day con\u00adfer\u00adence aims to dis\u00adcuss the best exam\u00adples of suc\u00adcess\u00adful tele\u00advi\u00adsion con\u00adtent from Ger\u00admany and abroad, take a look at the dif\u00adfer\u00adent ways in which tele\u00advi\u00adsion com\u00admis\u00adsion\u00ading edi\u00adtors work with young film\u00admak\u00aders, and address the desires and ambi\u00adtions of these film\u00admak\u00aders and the prob\u00adlems that they encounter when work\u00ading with tele\u00advi\u00adsion chan\u00adnels. Dur\u00ading the con\u00adfer\u00adence, stu\u00addents will look at tele\u00advi\u00adsion con\u00adtent, com\u00admis\u00adsion\u00ading edi\u00adtors will present their work,  par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpate in round tables, and iden\u00adti\u00adfy prob\u00adlems.<\/p>\n
