It is exclusively owned by the Berlin government, from which it receives institutional funding for its academic activities.\r\n\r\nThe DFFB trains students in the following specialisations: Directing, Cinematography, Producing, Screenwriting, and Editing &amp; Sound. Students are awarded a certificate of completion upon graduation.\r\n\r\nThe DFFB's study programmes (and their entrance requirements) are comparable to the fine arts or arts and sciences programmes of German state universities. The DFFB does not offer bachelor's or master's degrees.\r\n\r\nThe curriculum is structured according to academic regulations.\r\n\r\nThe DFFB has a student council, which is composed of students from all academic years.\r\n\r\nWolf Plesmann is the managing director of the DFFB, Angelika Levi is the artistic director.\r\n<h2><strong>\r\nAcademic Profile and Code of Values<\/strong><\/h2>\r\nIn 2024, we created two basic texts for our academy in an intensive process and with a great deal of input and commitment from all DFFB members involved.
