After studying at the DFFB, he made several feature films, most recently CASTING (2017, Berlinale Forum). Like his other films HALBSCHATTEN (2013, Berlinale Forum) and UNTEN MITTE KINN (2011, Munich Film Festival), it was shown at international festivals worldwide. Nicolas Wackerbarth teaches at art and film schools and was a guest professor in the Narrative Film class at the Berlin University of the Arts.
