As a research-based filmmaker, she creates hybrid and essayistic films that combine different media, perspectives, and narrative forms. Her works interweave documentary research with memory, imagination, and narrative structures, using these elements to develop a distinctive cinematic language. In doing so, Levi places images and stories in new social contexts and opens up spaces for a multifaceted exploration of history, the present, and perception.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">MEIN LEBEN TEIL 2<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">, her first feature-length essayistic documentary, premiered in 2003\u00a0in the Forum section of the <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Berlinale and won several awards. <strong>CHILDREN OF SRIKANDI<\/strong> premiered in 2012\u00a0in the Panorama section of the Berlinale and also won several awards. <strong>MIETE ESSEN SEELE AUF<\/strong> was screened at the <i>Haus der Kulturen der Welt<\/i> and broadcast on <i>arte<\/i>. <strong>AHORITA FRAMES<\/strong> premiered in 2021\u00a0in the <em>Forum Expanded<\/em> section of the Berlinale.
