At the recep\u00adtion of the Ver\u00adband Deutsch\u00ader Drehbuchau\u00adtoren (VDD) (Ger\u00adman Film Crit\u00adics Asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion) held dur\u00ading the 69th Berli\u00adnale, the Fed\u00ader\u00adal Gov\u00adern\u00adment Com\u00admis\u00adsion\u00ader for Cul\u00adture and the Media, Moni\u00adka Gr\u00fct\u00adters, award\u00aded the prize to Radl\u00admaier. The prize is endowed with a \u20ac10,000 award and is one of the most impor\u00adtant prizes for screen\u00adwrit\u00aders in Ger\u00admany.<\/p>\n
The jury praised the script \u2014 which tells the sto\u00adry of a fake Russ\u00adian baron and the daugh\u00adter of a real Ger\u00adman fac\u00adto\u00adry own\u00ader who make a vam\u00adpire film on the Baltic Sea in 1926 \u2014 as \u201cextrav\u00ada\u00adgant, bizarre, and hilar\u00adi\u00adous\u201d. The script con\u00adtains flam\u00adboy\u00adant dia\u00adlogues that inter\u00adweave with mus\u00adings on social class\u00ades, cre\u00adat\u00ading par\u00adal\u00adlels to the mag\u00adic and cor\u00adrupt\u00adibil\u00adi\u00adty of cin\u00ade\u00adma. We are very excit\u00aded at the thought of this enter\u00adtain\u00ading script being made into a film. The prizewin\u00adner is also enti\u00adtled to sub\u00adsi\u00addies of up to \u20ac20,000 for the real\u00adi\u00adsa\u00adtion of the film.<\/p>\n
