The Bavar\u00adi\u00adan Acad\u00ade\u00admy of Fine Arts in mem\u00ado\u00adry of Heinz Bade\u00adwitz award\u00aded Her\u00adzog a cer\u00adti\u00adfied gold bar of 1&nbsp;kg of fine gold worth approx\u00adi\u00admate\u00adly \u20ac43,000. The prize also fea\u00adtures a year of cre\u00adative advice to the direc\u00adtor regard\u00ading the devel\u00adop\u00adment of a new film.<\/p>\n<p>Direc\u00adtor Edgar Reitz (whose films include HEIMAT, DIE ANDERE HEIMAT) was the men\u00adtor for the Hof Gold Prize 2018, which was award\u00aded to Luzie Loose for SCHWIMMEN.
