This year, the DFFB will once again be present at the 70th Berlin Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal Film Fes\u00adti\u00adval (Feb\u00adru\u00adary 20\u2013March 1, 2020). The DFFB is con\u00adtribut\u00ading to an excit\u00ading fes\u00adti\u00adval with a doc\u00adu\u00admen\u00adtary and a fea\u00adture film cre\u00adat\u00aded by women grad\u00adu\u00adates in two sec\u00adtions as well as twelve projects fea\u00adtur\u00ading alum\u00adni.<\/p>\n

DFFB <\/u>Films at the Berli\u00adnale<\/u><\/p>\n

The DFFB grad\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion film BLUE EYES AND COLORFUL MY DRESS by Poli\u00adna Gumiela\u2014a doc\u00adu\u00admen\u00adtary fol\u00adlow\u00ading 3\u2011year-old Zhana on her for\u00adays through her neigh\u00adbour\u00adhood in Plovdiv\/Bulgaria\u2014will cel\u00ade\u00adbrate its world pre\u00admiere in the Gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion Kplus sec\u00adtion. A FISH SWIMMING UPSIDE DOWN by Eliza Petkova\u2014a grad\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion film about an unusu\u00adal love tri\u00adan\u00adgle in which the par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpants expect more from each oth\u00ader than they can handle\u2014screens in Per\u00adspek\u00adtive Deutsches Kino. These two films will also be pre\u00adsent\u00aded dur\u00ading the EFM mar\u00adket on 26.02. at the DFFB cin\u00ade\u00adma.<\/p>\n

Events Dur\u00ading the Fes\u00adti\u00adval <\/u><\/p>\n

The DFFB will also be present dur\u00ading var\u00adi\u00adous events through\u00adout the Berli\u00adnale: The Film\u00adnet\u00adzw\u00aderk Berlin<\/a> is par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpat\u00ading in the open\u00ading con\u00adfer\u00adence of the Crit\u00adics\u2018 Week on 19.02 dur\u00ading the work\u00adshop \u201cFilm gegen Rechts\u201c (Film against the Right). Ser\u00adi\u00adal Eyes<\/a>, the post\u00adgrad\u00adu\u00adate pro\u00adgramme for the devel\u00adop\u00adment of tele\u00advi\u00adsion series, will be present at the Berli\u00adnale Series Mar\u00adket in the Zoopalast at \u201cHot Con\u00adtenders 2020: Dis\u00adcov\u00ader the Next Gen\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion.\u201d<\/p>\n

On 26 Feb\u00adru\u00adary, grad\u00adu\u00adates will present a selec\u00adtion of dar\u00ading projects, which will then be dis\u00adcussed with top-lev\u00adel indus\u00adtry play\u00aders. That evening, the DFFB invites you to its annu\u00adal recep\u00adtion on the 9th floor of the Filmhaus. NEXT WAVE<\/a>, the DFF\u00adB\u2019s new pro\u00adgramme on the future of Euro\u00adpean film mar\u00adkets, focus\u00ades on the top\u00adic \u201cChal\u00adlenges of New Dis\u00adtri\u00adb\u00adu\u00adtion\u201d at EFM Hori\u00adzon, where solu\u00adtions for chal\u00adlenges in the areas of film fes\u00adti\u00advals, VOD, and microdis\u00adtri\u00adb\u00adu\u00adtion will be devel\u00adoped.<\/p>\n

DFFB stu\u00addents will also par\u00adtake in the fes\u00adti\u00adval: cur\u00adrent\u00adly in its 10th edi\u00adtion, \u201cCouch\u00adsurf\u00ading the Berli\u00adnale\u201d has invit\u00aded 25 film stu\u00addents from around the world to Berlin, pro\u00advid\u00ading them with a sofa to sleep on and the oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to explore the fes\u00adti\u00adval togeth\u00ader with DFFB stu\u00addents.<\/p>\n
