The 54th Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal Hofer Film Fes\u00adti\u00adval <\/a>has come to an end, and once again there were many offer\u00adings from the DFFB. \u201cHome of Films\u201d is the mot\u00adto of the fes\u00adti\u00adval, and it describes the suc\u00adcess of our stu\u00addents and alum\u00adni well.<\/p>\n

Two of our stu\u00addent films cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded their world pre\u00admiere at this fes\u00adti\u00adval:<\/p>\n

BABY BITCHKA <\/a>(D: Anna Maria Roznows\u00adka, S: Anna Maria Roznows\u00adka & Tama\u00adra Erbe, C: Malte Siepen, P: Tama\u00adra Erbe) tells the sto\u00adry of Sascha (crazy, sexy, alco\u00adholic, 23) who falls in love with Alexan\u00adder (crazy, sexy, alco\u00adholic, 60). It is the sto\u00adry of two peo\u00adple who fall in love with their alter egos.<\/p>\n

DUC <\/a>NGUYEN (D: Clara Zoe My-Linh von Arn\u00adim, S: Sebas\u00adt\u00adian Lad\u00adwig, C: Raban Jakob Friedrich, P: Lucas Thiem & Jan\u00adna Fodor) tells the sto\u00adry of three Ger\u00adman-Viet\u00adnamese teenagers on a noc\u00adtur\u00adnal search for a motor\u00adbike-rid\u00ading phan\u00adtom who is cre\u00adat\u00ading hav\u00adoc on Berlin\u2019s motor\u00adways\u2026<\/p>\n

LEIB <\/a>(D\/\u200bS: Mar\u00adi\u00adjana Ver\u00adhoef, C: Ley\u00adla Hoppe, P: Ele\u00adna Zur\u00adbuch & Elis\u00ada\u00adbeth K\u00f6ller) cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded its Ger\u00adman pre\u00admiere in Hof. The film tells the sto\u00adry of a mys\u00adte\u00adri\u00adous crea\u00adture who, as a farm\u00adhand, appears in the life of an old wid\u00adow\u00ader to help her on her farm. How\u00adev\u00ader, when the crea\u00adture begins to devel\u00adop human feel\u00adings, their lives take a dif\u00adfer\u00adent turn.<\/p>\n

DFFB alum\u00adna and pro\u00adduc\u00ader Lena Vur\u00adma was award\u00aded the VGF\u2019s high\u00adest-endowed Ger\u00adman prize for young pro\u00adduc\u00aders, the VGF Young Pro\u00adduc\u00ader Award, worth 60,000 euros, for the pro\u00adduc\u00adtion of the fea\u00adture film ADVENTURES OF A MATHEMATICIAN.<\/span><\/p>\n

DFFB alum\u00adnus Mar\u00adcus Lenz scored anoth\u00ader suc\u00adcess with his film RIVALE, which received the F\u00f6rder\u00adpreis Neues Deutsches Kino for Best Film. <\/span><\/p>\n

And last but not least, direc\u00adtor Emi\u00adly Atef, also an alum\u00adna of the DFFB, was award\u00aded the Hans-Vogt Film Prize from the city of Rehau, endowed with 5000 Euros. This prize is award\u00aded to film\u00admak\u00aders whose works are dis\u00adtin\u00adguished by their qual\u00adi\u00adty and sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcance and that use film music in a unique way. <\/span><\/p>\n
