We are delight\u00aded that fan\u00adtas\u00adtic pro\u00adduc\u00adtions fea\u00adtur\u00ading the par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpa\u00adtion of numer\u00adous DFFB alum\u00adni will screen in the var\u00adi\u00adous sec\u00adtions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Sec\u00adtion: Encoun\u00adters<\/h2>\n<p>12 films, includ\u00ading 7 debut films, were invit\u00aded to the Encoun\u00adters com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adtion, which is held for the sec\u00adond time this year.<\/p>\n<p>One of these films is BLOODSUCKERS by direc\u00adtor Julian Radl\u00admaier, which will have its world pre\u00admiere at the fes\u00adti\u00adval. Togeth\u00ader with fel\u00adlow alum\u00adni Kir\u00adill Krasovs\u00adki (pro\u00adduc\u00ader) and Markus Koob (cin\u00ade\u00admatog\u00adra\u00adph\u00ader), Radlmaier\u2019s film won\u00adder\u00adful\u00adly recounts the sto\u00adry of a pen\u00adni\u00adless Sovi\u00adet refugee who falls in love with a young, wealthy Ger\u00adman vam\u00adpire who spends the sum\u00admer by the sea with her awk\u00adward assis\u00adtant. Alexan\u00addre Koberidze, direc\u00adtor and recent DFFB grad\u00adu\u00adate, stars in BLOODSUCKERS.<\/p>\n<p>THE GIRL AND THE SPIDER by Ramon and Sil\u00advan Z\u00fcrcher, who both stud\u00adied with at the DFFB, is a film from Switzer\u00adland that is in the run\u00adning for the Best Film Award, the Best Direc\u00adtor Award, and the Spe\u00adcial Jury Prize. Alexan\u00adder Ha\u00dfk\u00aderl (cin\u00ade\u00admatog\u00adra\u00adph\u00ader) cap\u00adtured this tragi\u00adcom\u00adic poet\u00adic bal\u00adlad about change and tran\u00adsience.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Sec\u00adtion: Panora\u00adma<\/h2>\n<p>In this sec\u00adtion DFFB alum\u00adnus Mar\u00adtin Heisler pro\u00adduced Hen\u00adri\u00adka Kul\u00adl\u2019s fea\u00adture film BLISS, which vivid\u00adly tells the love sto\u00adry of two sex work\u00aders.
