San\u00addra Braun will take over as inter\u00adim direc\u00adtor of the Ger\u00adman Film and Tele\u00advi\u00adsion Acad\u00ade\u00admy Berlin with imme\u00addi\u00adate effect, suc\u00adceed\u00ading Ben Gib\u00adson.<\/em><\/p>\n

The DFF\u00adB\u2019s Board of Trustees con\u00adfirmed the appoint\u00adment of San\u00addra Braun as the new inter\u00adim direc\u00adtor of the DFFB at its meet\u00ading in April 2020. Braun will ful\u00adfill this role in addi\u00adtion to her role as the Acad\u00ade\u00admy\u2019s admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtive direc\u00adtor. An impor\u00adtant goal in the com\u00ading year will be to ini\u00adti\u00adate a struc\u00adtur\u00adal reor\u00adga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion of the Acad\u00ade\u00admy in order to main\u00adtain and advance the out\u00adstand\u00ading qual\u00adi\u00adty of its train\u00ading for the future.<\/p>\n

San\u00addra Braun stud\u00adied law and holds a Mas\u00adter of Busi\u00adness Admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion. After hold\u00ading posi\u00adtions at BBC World\u00adwide, Sen\u00ada\u00adtor Enter\u00adtain\u00adment, and Rund\u00adfunk Berlin-Bran\u00adden\u00adburg, the 47-year-old joined the DFFB at the begin\u00adning of the year as Head of Admin\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion. Speak\u00ading about her new role, San\u00addra Braun says: \u201cThe DFFB is one of Ger\u00admany\u2019s lead\u00ading film schools and enjoys an excel\u00adlent rep\u00adu\u00adta\u00adtion in the edu\u00adca\u00adtion and train\u00ading of young film\u00admak\u00aders. In the com\u00ading months, a spe\u00adcial focus will be on respon\u00adsi\u00adbly shap\u00ading the DFF\u00adB\u2019s teach\u00ading oper\u00ada\u00adtions dur\u00ading the Coro\u00adna pan\u00addem\u00adic and prepar\u00ading the struc\u00adtur\u00adal and orga\u00adni\u00adza\u00adtion\u00adal con\u00addi\u00adtions for the long-term announce\u00adment of a new man\u00adage\u00adment team.
