When Sam is accused of rape, Rose is asked to tes\u00adti\u00adfy as a wit\u00adness. This puts both the sib\u00adlings\u2019 rela\u00adtion\u00adship and Rose\u2019s moral integri\u00adty to the test. The film focus\u00ades on the com\u00adplex human\u00adi\u00adty of the char\u00adac\u00adters. They all have long\u00adings, desires and hurts, make mis\u00adtakes and push bound\u00adaries. Nev\u00ader\u00adthe\u00adless, Sam\u2019s act is no sim\u00adple mis\u00adtake. It is so pow\u00ader\u00adful and so destruc\u00adtive that the con\u00adse\u00adquences he caus\u00ades go far beyond the char\u00adac\u00adters direct\u00adly affect\u00aded by the act. SCHWESTERHERZ is a film about sib\u00adlings, inti\u00adma\u00adcy and the ques\u00adtion of what influ\u00adence our actions have on the peo\u00adple around us, direct\u00adly or indi\u00adrect\u00adly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Berli\u00adnale\u2019s Panora\u00adma pro\u00adgramme shows films that make peo\u00adple think about pol\u00adi\u00adtics, val\u00adues and soci\u00adety. As part of the selec\u00adtion, SCHWESTERHERHERZ could win the Panora\u00adma Audi\u00adence Award as well as sev\u00ader\u00adal cross-sec\u00adtion prizes.
