THE PLANT FROM THE CANARIES (DoP: Jonathan Steil) will cel\u00ade\u00adbrate its world pre\u00admiere in the Cineasti del pre\u00adsente com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adtion. The film tells the sto\u00adry of May, a Kore\u00adan woman in her ear\u00adly thir\u00adties, who finds her\u00adself alone in Berlin after a sud\u00adden break-up. As she drifts through sleep\u00adless days, mem\u00ado\u00adries of her youth in Seoul emerge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addi\u00adtion to direct\u00ading, Ruan Lan-Xi was also respon\u00adsi\u00adble for the screen\u00adplay, edit\u00ading and pro\u00adduc\u00adtion.
