He was a stu\u00addent of the very first cohort of the DFFB, at first com\u00adpelled to leave after one year, grad\u00adu\u00adat\u00ading in 1970 and ulti\u00admate\u00adly return\u00ading as direc\u00adtor of the DFFB from 2006 to 2009.&nbsp;A doc\u00adu\u00admen\u00adtary film\u00admak\u00ader (\u201eDer VW Kom\u00adplex\u201c, \u201eReich\u00adsauto\u00adbahn\u201c, \u201eHigh\u00adway 40 West\u201c, \u201eDas Kino und der Tod\u201c or \u201eStaub\u201c, to name a few), film the\u00ado\u00adrist and author (\u201cDie R\u00f6te des Rots von Tech\u00adni\u00adcol\u00ador\u201d), and an excep\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adly keen observ\u00ader of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The DFFB owes Hart\u00admut Bit\u00ado\u00adm\u00adsky an immense debt of grat\u00adi\u00adtude. Over the years, he shaped and inspired count\u00adless stu\u00addents and film\u00admak\u00aders, always approach\u00ading their work with open\u00adness and curios\u00adi\u00adty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Hart\u00admut Bit\u00ado\u00adm\u00adsky has passed away at the age of 83.
