Torpor
There are connections in life so tightly knit, one gets lost in them. With the death of her brother, Asra has lost her
path in life and access to her own true self. She wanders aimlessly through what she had previously known as
everyday life. The encounter with her sister in law enables Asra to grief and cracks her hermetic lockdown from
the outer world. A relationship dynamic emerges from the absence of a third.
The two women form to each other the gateway to a past, where they can get together in grief. The same grief
that leads them a step back to life.
Two women meet over the mutual loss of a loved one. Together they can break out of the total solitude that
congeals body and spirit in grief.
