We are looking for a cinematographer / DoP to record one of our live performance pieces, either on Friday, the 12th or on Saturday, the 13th of May. Ideally, you would have your own equipment, no editing is needed. Paid.
„my home is not my home“ – the performance you would have to record is a ballad for the marginalized, and features Madonna and Jesus as trash prophets. In a devotional setting of sinister rituals and acts of liberation, it addresses issues of belonging.
The performance is site-specific and contains some audience interaction, and has a very distinct visual aesthetic that would need to be captured. It won’t be a „classical“ performance recording, but rather an artistic process, along the lines of experimental filmmaking.
The length of the performance is ca. 1 hour, but we will also need time to discuss lighting and camera settings in advance.
