Berlin-based filmmaker is looking for a lead producer to collaborate on a 9–10 minute short film titled I’m Maya?
The film follows a thirty-something Turkish immigrant woman in Berlin who loses access to her social media account and slowly unravels in her attempt to prove her identity.
It’s a darkly humorous, character-driven story exploring digital identity and self-perception in the age of online validation.
Pre-production is planned for the first half of December 2025, with the shoot scheduled for January 2026 in Berlin.
Most scenes will be set in a domestic (apartment) environment, and we’ll work with a small, collaborative crew aiming for a simple yet cinematic style.

This is a non-paid passion project, developed with a tight-knit team of creatives who want to bring an intimate story to life.
If the concept resonates with you, I’d be happy to share a short proof-of-concept video that captures the tone and visual world of the film.
Looking forward to connecting with like-minded creatives who enjoy telling human stories with humor and honesty.
Get in touch if this sounds like a project you’d like to be part of.
