Shilshul
A man and a woman live the comfortable life they built together. In a seemingly peaceful lunch, one truth bursts out and threatens to break it all up - she is tired of him. Surrounded by the best of everything, she finally spits it out. She insults him.
The double meaning of her strange insult becomes tragic as he tries to interpret it in a more optimistic way. Instinctively, he gives up his pride for peace, but this only intensifies his wife's contempt. And so he squirms until he has no choice but to lock himself in the toilet.
A comic experimental film, based on “During Lunchtime" - a short story written by Hanoch Levin.
