We provide training in directing, screenwriting, cinematography, production and editing & sound — in a creative, internationally connected environment where students from around the world develop their unique ‘artistic voice’.
Program Offerings
The program at the DFFB is divided into a preliminary phase and a main phase. The preliminary phase covers the first five semesters for all majors; the main phase follows and generally lasts up to seven additional semesters. The standard duration of study for the programs in Directing, Cinematography/Camera, Production, and Film & Sound Editing is 12 semesters; for students in the Screenwriting program, the standard duration of study is 7 semesters.
