With the death of her brother, Asra loses access to the world around her and to her actual sense of self. Lost, Asra drifts aimlessly around the mundane remnants of her life. Only the encounter with her sister-in-law opens the hermetical seal against the outside world. The two women become each other's gateway to a past in which they come together to grieve. Together, they can take a step out of the obliterative isolation that afflicts body and mind in mourning.
