Signs and Traces
Friedbert (65) is an actor, who has travelled around the world during his career. He always returned home however in his old mansion, where he makes long walks through the country and has thoughts about preservation and decay.
During one of these walks, he meets Werner (55). Werner is retired chemist. With his retirementmoney he was able to buy his little house in the vicinity of Friedbert's mansion.
The nihilist Werner and the megalomane Friedbert develop an infantile yet grave bond, that balances between friendship and animosity.
When Friedbert tells Werner that he has cancer and only got one a few months to live, their paths of life start to converge.
