Ulrike Zinke stud­ied scenog­ra­phy and media art in Karl­sruhe and was an assis­tant set design­er at the Schaus­piel­haus Bochum before dis­cov­er­ing her pas­sion for screen­writ­ing. She went on to study at the DFF­B’s screen­writ­ing acad­e­my. Since 2003, Ulrike Zinke has realised numer­ous tele­vi­sion films, includ­ing DIE FISCHERIN and the cin­e­ma doc­u­men­tary GLÜCKSRITTERINNEN by Kat­ja Fed­ulo­va. She also works as a dra­maturge and trans­la­tor.
