Comfort Zone

‘Comfort Zone‘ is the spiritual journey of a young man called Tao who has been driven in an existential crisis. The Christian doctrine of salvation seems to him as worthless as the images provided by media. At the Tempelhof Airport, in the Spreewald and the holiday paradise ‘Tropical Islands‘ the question of the irrevocable rootage of human life is put forward in an always new and different way. Every character Tao meets on his way has got his own conception of the world. But not only for him it is impossible to bring these contradictions into accordance with each other. Step by step the logical seems to get nullified; it turns into the absurd and resigns in the spectacle. Who is looking for a story here has to find or invent it himself.

The Title died

An impossible love story with a toast Hawaii -- The shy Cornelius and the mysterious Louise are studying Latin. Louise doesn't know yet if she wants to kiss him or to suck his blood. Cornelius has puzzling thoughts about the younger woman. Should he admit his love for her and then incur a penalty? Albacore

A man takes us on a fishing trip to an unspecific place off the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Searching for schools of Albacore tuna the monotonous radio communication of the fishermen are the only spoken words. Through patches of green and grey waters, rocked by the constant swell of the waves the fisherman hooks the fish and pulls them out of the ocean one by one.

Yelling at goldfish

The film introduces us into a colorful and screaming world. A bubble gum that gets bigger and brighter. We see a house where headstrong characters live. It`s loud, intense, an aggressive summer. Right in the middle we have Lise, our main protagonist. She wishes to go to the lake, an idyllic place she dreams about, far away from her yelling parents and her annoying neighbor. While taking a bath, trying to escape from everyone, she comes crashing down together with the bathtub a floor lower and ends up in her neighbors bathroom. Not quite shocked, but involved in a stressful discussion with her parents she flees from them to her best friend, Timo, wishing to find peace. Yet, even there, there`s hustle and bustle, neighbors demonstrating for vanilla ice cream and a crazy old woman wanting to set her goldfish free. Luckily, Timo lives in an ice cream van. Why not going together to the lake?

Rite of Spring

The enthusiastic young director Flori rehearses an off-theatre production of Igor Stravinsky’s revolutionary ballet „The Rite of Spring“. She is dissatisfied with the performance of her much older soloist Helen who seems unable to accept the role of the female sacrifice who literally dances herself to death in an act of devotion. Flori therefore uses manipulating directing strategies to force Helen into her part as the victim and thus the reality of the play and the reality of the rehearsals begin to mix.
