Working on FAUDA

- with Michal Aviram

Join us for a screening of the first episode of FAUDA, the succesful Netflix Series written by Michal Aviram.

After the screening, Michal will join the host of the night, Serial Eyes tutor and mentor Donna Sharpe, for a chat about the collaboration with Netflix and the challanges encounterd during the creation of FAUDA.

“FAUDA” (Arabic for ‘CHAOS’) depicts the two-sided story of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Doron, a commander of undercover Israeli unit, the Israeli Special Forces, operating inside Palestinian territories, and his team, are hunting down Hamas terrorist Abu-Ahmed. On the other side of the fence, the life of Abu-Ahmed and his family, who has thus far murdered 143 Israelis, will never accept the State of Israel, and will continue Jihad for as long as it takes.

This is a joint event of DFFB, Serial Eyes and Filmnetzwerk Berlin.

The Session will be held in English and it’ll be recorded for the IndieFilmTalk podcast.
