Seeking Art / Production Designer for Short Film “I’m Maya”
We’re looking for an art/production designer to join a small Berlin-based team on a short film titled “I’m Maya”.
The film follows a Turkish immigrant woman in her thirties living in Berlin who loses access to her social media account and slowly unravels while trying to prove her identity. It’s a character-driven, darkly humorous story about identity and belonging.
Most scenes are set in an apartment, so the focus is on atmosphere, texture, and subtle visual choices rather than big-scale design. Dates: February 9–10-11–12
We’re a small, friendly crew, moving fast but thoughtfully. The schedule is a bit tight, so we’re hoping to find someone who can jump in and collaborate closely from early on.
This is a non-paid passion project, made with care and intention. If you like intimate stories and enjoy shaping a film together rather than just “doing a job,” we’d love to connect.
