Looking for a Gaffer for a short psychological horror set in Forest
The story: When a young woman’s dog vanishes during a hike, she is drawn into a confrontation with a silent silhouette that has control over her pet.
Why lighting matters here: The monster in this film is a shape. We need a figure that’s readable in the dark without ever being revealed. The forest scenes move through different daylight and night settings, and there’s a streetlight scene that should feel like a safe place until it doesn’t. There will be no power outlets on location. If you enjoy building dread from light and shadow, you’ll like this one.
Would be great if you already have some equipment.
