CASTING CALL — SPIRAL
Short Film | SAE Institute Berlin

Looking for cast and crew for a short film shooting in Berlin in early August (1–10 Aug). All locations on or near SAE campus. 2–3 shoot days total.
Unfortunately this is a student project so it will be unpaid, food and drinks will be provided. The film will be submitted to film festivals and premiered at cineplex Titania later this year.

ROLES
THE MAN (lead)
Male, 25–35. Every scene. Needs to carry silence, this is a performance built on restraint, not dialogue. Someone who can be present without doing much, slighlty witty/grumpy, think larry david.
THE PARTNER
Female or non-binary, 25–35. One scene (dinner). Calm, composed, emotionally intelligent on screen.
CLASSROOM EXTRAS (4–5 people)
Any gender, any look. Playing 10-year-olds (yes, as adults). Includes two speaking roles: THE GIRL and SASHA. Commitment: one shoot day.
SHOOT DATES: Early August 2026, exact dates TBC based on availability.
All shoot days on SAE campus. Short days, fed on set.
