Crew Call for expe­ri­men­tal short, „The Fable of Fried­rich and Alex“

This is a stu­dent film cal­led „The Fable of Fried­rich and Alex“.
My mas­ter the­sis for under­grad an an expe­ri­men­tal short about two que­er trans­gen­der peo­p­le in 1980s East Ger­ma­ny and 2026 NYC. Their sto­ries and time­lines are par­al­lel until one day they meet at a mys­te­rious light-house.
My name is Lean­der Fran­ke. I am from Ber­lin ori­gi­nal­ly my par­ents are from East Ger­ma­ny. I am film­ing the 1980s sto­ry­line in Ber­lin.
I am also loo­king for actors someone to play the main cha­rac­ter Fried­rich (who needs to be transmasculine/​nonbinary/​butch) and sup­port­ing cha­rac­ters of Toni ano­ther butch/​transmasculine cha­rac­ter and Martina/​Josef who could be play­ed by any gen­der. I am very exci­ted to come back to Ber­lin to make this film hap­pen. I am working tog­e­ther with the New School in New York and Mill­en­ni­um Film Work­shop which will screen the film, and act as my sup­port­ing insti­tu­ti­ons.
