Looking for an Editor – Independent Music Documentary

I’m looking for a young editor or film student to collaborate on a low-budget independent documentary about an underground DJ and artist.

The film explores music as a way of finding identity, connection, and a sense of belonging. It touches on rave culture, the intimacy of radio as a space for discovering music, and the idea of sharing songs as a way of bringing people into a certain emotional state.

At its core, the documentary is about a pure artist who has always stayed close to underground culture and resisted the pressures of the mainstream. Someone who creates out of obsession and love for music rather than for recognition or social media attention.

The project is driven by a deep love for music and the belief that the right song, at the right moment, can transform how we feel — or even make us want to go out and dance.

I’m looking for someone interested in documentary, music, or DIY/underground culture. The budget is small, but there is room for creative collaboration and experimentation in the edit.

If you’re interested, feel free to get in touch and I can share more details about the project.
