„Please, kill myself “
The story features three characters: a father figure representing the state, a son representing the new generation, and a young woman who challenges those norms. Dad’s figure holds all the power and shapes the reality of others. He takes away the hair of a woman while the son is observing. The cycle of punishment is introduced to kids as a power for good.
The loss of childhood, when young boys are taught what is “honour” when they hold weapons for the first time. The young woman, a character, childlike, is experiencing those realities and exploring her way to save hers. She is obliged to follow rules that she doesn’t believe in and suffers from them. A female figure challenges those norms, plays with them and protects childhood in the shadows of the dad’s figure.
