Portrait Models for Picture Series/ TfP (time for pictures)

I’m attempting to create very authentic images to eventually be published on social media and in galleries. the aim is to encourage people to show and process emotions.

I’m drawn to capturing emotions in a tangible way and making feelings visible and perceptible to the viewer-showing vulnerability, and especially quiet, delicate yet intense emotions that are mainly conveyed through the gaze. For this to be possible, I believe a safe and supportive framework is needed. That’s why I don’t have rigid ideas; instead, I would like to meet beforehand for a conversation to see how the presence feels for both of us and to talk about formalities as well as the conditions you need in order to express yourself emotionally.

This could, for example, be a specific room or a place in nature, clear agreements about boundaries and possibilities, as well as about the clothing in which you feel comfortable and would like to be seen-ideally classic, elegant, or vintage, without logos or text. The same applies to styling; for this series, it should feel as natural and minimal as possible, enhancing your personality and expression rather than hiding or distracting from it.

I would find it beautiful if we could create a moment in which you can be completely yourself – as you want to be on that day. There is no pressure and no expectations; anything can happen, nothing has to happen. If you can imagine showing sadness or grief, I am explicitly open to that as well.

As a creative framework for this series, I envision portraits or portrait-like images in color, usually with direct eye contact with the viewer. I photograph with high-quality equipment, always without flash and using an 85 mm prime lens.
