We are loo­king for a Make­up Artist for MOS, an inde­pen­dent art­house fea­ture film co-pro­du­ced bet­ween Ice­land and Ger­ma­ny, direc­ted by Arró Ste­fáns­son (Deli­ri­um Films).
After a vio­lent inci­dent, Han­nah (ear­ly 40s) gra­du­al­ly loses her hea­ring — and with it her grip on rea­li­ty. Iso­la­ted in Ber­lin and haun­ted by memo­ry gaps, she beco­mes the prime suspect when her for­mer acquain­tance Lui­se wakes from a coma clai­ming Han­nah tried to kill her. The film will be sub­mit­ted to inter­na­tio­nal fes­ti­vals.
We’­re loo­king for a sen­si­ti­ve MUA with a fee­ling for natu­ral, cine­ma­tic make­up, skin rea­lism, subt­le cha­rac­ter-dri­ven work, and SFX basics (scars and wounds) if pos­si­ble. A basic make­up set­up is alre­a­dy available on set.
