Hey, I’m Xue, a sound designer and composer based in Berlin.
I would really love to create sound and music for animations or short films that I feel connected to. I really enjoy the process of discovering the right sonic language for each animation or film.
I’m good at listening closely to the creator’s concept and developing the sound in collaboration with them. For me, each collaboration is a way of entering another person’s thoughts and feelings, and that experience feels truly magical. In my sound design, I often work with field recordings and sounds from everyday objects. Since I’m also a pianist, I also like to bring acoustic instruments into my work.
I’m especially looking forward to collaborating on projects that give sound creation more space for experimentation.
