Loo­king for a VFX artist to help with two very short shots for my gra­dua­ti­on short film „Las Cosas Se Mue­ven En Mi Casa“, curr­ent­ly in post-pro­duc­tion.
What’s nee­ded:

Shot 1: Roto/​masking of a floa­ting shawl. I have the clean pla­te of the back­ground and need to remo­ve an arm from the ori­gi­nal clip and com­po­si­te the shawl cle­an­ly.
Shot 2: Mask a per­son moving against a white back­ground and com­po­si­te them into a win­dow shot.

Both shots are very short. This is unpaid, but you would recei­ve a full VFX Artist cre­dit. The film is a Spa­nish-lan­guage sur­rea­list short, self-pro­du­ced in Ber­lin, and will be sub­mit­ted to fes­ti­vals across Ger­ma­ny and Spain.

Dead­line: 8th July (uni sub­mis­si­on, later on there’s a pos­si­bi­li­ty of working on it to make it bet­ter)

We are curr­ent­ly sear­ching for expe­ri­en­ced and inte­res­ted crew for our Met­film School gra­dua­ti­on shoot, „Men Wit­hout Women“.

ABOUT THE FILM

Men Wit­hout Women fol­lows Ash, a young stripper/​dominatrix in Ber­lin. The film obser­ves frag­ments in her day to day rou­ti­ne as she attempts to navi­ga­te the psy­cho­lo­gi­cal effects of her work, explo­ring the­mes such as emo­tio­nal detach­ment and the dis­so­cia­ti­on requi­red for sur­vi­val

We aim to hand­le this sub­ject mat­ter with care, pla­cing empha­sis more on inter­nal emo­tio­nal con­se­quen­ces rather than sen­sa­tio­na­lism.

No mat­ter what role you take, you will be sur­roun­ded by a dedi­ca­ted, expe­ri­en­ced and enthu­sai­s­tic crew. We wel­co­me crew from all back­grounds, but due to the sen­si­ti­ve natu­re of the sub­ject, we stron­gly encou­ra­ge women and que­er crew mem­bers app­ly.

Crew call for the short expe­rie­men­tal film and stu­dent film: The Fable of Fried­rich and Alex
Fried­rich and Alex are two young trans­gen­der que­er rebels caught bet­ween the issues of the out­side world and the que­er com­mu­ni­ty and the magi­cal space they find in it they even tra­vel through time and space. This is a modern-day fable and 21st- cen­tu­ry Bil­dungs­ro­man of Ber­lin punks and artists in the 1980s GDR, clas­hing and bon­ding with modern-day que­er youth.

Unpaid but food and trans­port pro­vi­ded. This is a film done with col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with micro cine­ma in New York City(Millennium Film Work­shop), Inter­flugs, and the New School so this will be shown at micro cine­mas and will build good expe­ri­ence.
