URGENT CREW CALL – x2 GAFFER – SHORT FILM “NORMAN” (unpaid)
Dear all,
For our passion short film project, we are looking for:
A GAFFER with some experience and a good understanding of light schemes and a 2nd GAFFER/ASSISTANT – with any degree of experience – to help them with the tasks and the equipment.
Short synopsis: A dysfunctional family gathers at the hospital after their 75-year-old grandfather falls out of the window. From his perspective, we see how his family deals with his condition, his alleged suicide attempt, and, above all, their own problems.
The shooting will take place in Berlin later this week on 11/4, 12/4 and 14/4. We will need you from the 10/4 until the 15/4.
This is a student project and it will be a great opportunity for creatives looking to gain experience and collaborate with young filmmakers. While this is an unpaid position, catering will be provided on set, and you’ll receive credit and footage for your portfolio.
The film will be premiered in July 2025, during the Duemila30 film festival in Milan, and will be sent to other festivals throughout the year.
