We’re curr­ent­ly loo­king for a male actor aged 27 to 35 for an upco­ming inde­pen­dent short film in Ber­lin.

THE STORY
The sto­ry fol­lows peo­p­le who­se lives beco­me tan­gled in romance, mys­tery, and unex­pec­ted con­nec­tions. Each cha­rac­ter has their own strug­gles, desi­res, and unans­we­red ques­ti­ons as their lives begin to inter­sect in unex­pec­ted ways.

Through their expe­ri­en­ces, the film explo­res love, vul­nerabi­li­ty, per­so­nal ambi­ti­on, dif­fi­cult choices, and the moments that can chan­ge the cour­se of someone’s life.

THE ROLE
We’re loo­king for an actor to por­tray a thoughtful, groun­ded, and ambi­tious man navi­ga­ting com­pli­ca­ted rela­ti­onships and unex­pec­ted cir­cum­s­tances.

He is caring and genui­ne, but he also has his own goals and aspi­ra­ti­ons. As his per­so­nal life beco­mes incre­asing­ly com­pli­ca­ted, he must con­front dif­fi­cult decis­i­ons and find a way to balan­ce his ambi­ti­ons with the rela­ti­onships that mat­ter to him.

The role explo­res emo­tio­nal vul­nerabi­li­ty, per­so­nal growth, and the ten­si­on bet­ween indi­vi­du­al ambi­ti­ons and meaningful con­nec­tions with others.

The cha­rac­ter has seve­ral inti­ma­te and reflec­ti­ve moments, inclu­ding sce­nes invol­ving romance, con­flict, vul­nerabi­li­ty, and dif­fi­cult con­ver­sa­ti­ons.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
– Male actor, aged 27 to 35
– Must be based in Ber­lin. We work exclu­si­ve­ly with peo­p­le living in Ber­lin.
– Must speak Eng­lish. Addi­tio­nal lan­guages are wel­co­me.
– Tan, brown, or Black
– Com­for­ta­ble per­forming emo­tio­nal and reflec­ti­ve sce­nes
– Com­for­ta­ble with phy­si­cal inti­mac
– Relia­ble, com­mit­ted, fri­end­ly, and able to coor­di­na­te film­ing dates in advan­ce

FILMING DATES
Film­ing is plan­ned bet­ween Octo­ber and Novem­ber, with fewer than 12 shoot days in total. Not all film­ing days will requi­re a full day on set.

LOCATION
Ber­lin

COMPENSATION
This is an unpaid, self-fun­ded inde­pen­dent pro­duc­tion. Food will be pro­vi­ded during film­ing.

We’re a small, dedi­ca­ted team making this film out of pas­si­on. We’re loo­king for someone who is genui­ne­ly inte­res­ted in the pro­ject, kind, down to earth, and com­mit­ted to col­la­bo­ra­ting with us throug­hout the pro­duc­tion.
