We are cas­ting the two lead roles for EYES ON YOU, an upco­ming music video for Ber­lin-based band Lemon Eye.

The video takes place at an initi­al­ly stiff, over­ly com­po­sed bir­th­day par­ty that gra­du­al­ly des­cends into joyful cha­os. At its core, the sto­ry is about per­for­mance vs. authen­ti­ci­ty, the desi­re to be seen, and the moment peo­p­le stop per­forming for tho­se wat­ching them.

MICHELLE — Fema­le Lead | Play­ing age 18–28

Michel­le is the bir­th­day girl. While ever­yo­ne around her gra­du­al­ly beg­ins to let go, she remains obser­vant and res­trai­ned — until some­thing final­ly breaks the faça­de.

We are loo­king for an actress with strong screen pre­sence and expres­si­ve, subt­le facial acting. The role is lar­ge­ly visu­al and requi­res someone com­for­ta­ble moving/​dancing natu­ral­ly on came­ra and even­tual­ly beco­ming phy­si­cal­ly unin­hi­bi­ted and mes­sy.

STEVE — Male Lead | Play­ing age 18–30

Ste­ve is Michelle’s boy­fri­end — con­fi­dent, per­for­ma­ti­ve, a litt­le shal­low and slight­ly ridi­cu­lous, but never inten­tio­nal­ly cruel. He genui­ne­ly belie­ves he’s a good boy­fri­end, even when his attempts at being thoughtful com­ple­te­ly miss the mark.

As the par­ty trans­forms, Ste­ve gra­du­al­ly loses his inhi­bi­ti­ons and reve­als a more genui­ne, playful side of hims­elf.

We are loo­king for a cha­ris­ma­tic actor with strong screen pre­sence, natu­ral come­dic instincts and expres­si­ve phy­si­cal­i­ty, who is com­for­ta­ble impro­vi­sing, dancing and moving free­ly on came­ra.
