For a short film about endometriosis, we are looking for actresses with an American accent (mother tongue or convincing) for two roles.
The film is a ~10 minute narrative short about endometriosis, chronic gynecological pain, medical dismissal and the absurdities of navigating the healthcare system. It follows an introverted young woman who has learned to downplay her pain and the unexpected friendship she forms with another patient.
SECOND LEAD | playing age 28–39
Confident, warm, bubbly and funny. Looking for a naturalistic performance with strong comedic timing.
RECEPTIONIST | playing age 25–45
Overworked, impatient and slightly bitchy, without becoming a caricature. A small but memorable role with dry comedic potential.

Please be available on November 15, November 22 and November 28. The shoot will only be one day per role, but we are still confirming the locations and exact shooting date.
