Crew & Cas­ting Call – Short Film about Endo­me­trio­sis end of Nov Ber­lin

Hi! II’m curr­ent­ly loo­king for cast and crew for my short film. The film is my final Master’s pro­ject at UdK Ber­lin, and I’m also plan­ning to sub­mit it to film fes­ti­vals after­wards. 2 Shoot days in Ber­lin at the end of Novem­ber

The film fol­lows two women who meet in the wai­ting room of a gynecologist’s office and unex­pec­ted­ly begin tal­king about their expe­ri­en­ces with pain, their bodies and with doc­tors not belie­ving them. At its core, the film is about endo­me­trio­sis, chro­nic gyneco­lo­gi­cal pain and the way women’s pain is still so often invi­si­ble, dis­missed or not taken serious­ly.

It’s a fic­tion­al, dia­lo­gue-dri­ven short with a natu­ra­li­stic tone and moments of dark humor.

CAST
. Second Lead: Woman, approx. 25–35. Quir­ky, bubbly, out­spo­ken and fun­ny. Ide­al­ly someone who per­so­nal­ly rela­tes to the sub­ject or has expe­ri­ence with endo­me­trio­sis, cysts or chro­nic gyneco­lo­gi­cal pain, though this is not a requi­re­ment.
Gyneco­lo­gist: Any gen­der, 40+. Serious, com­po­sed pre­sence.

Shoot: 2 shoot days in Ber­lin during the last two weekends of Novem­ber 2026.
