DOP WANTED – Join Film Projects in Germany (Immediate Start)
We’re currently looking for a Director of Photography (DOP) to join our small creative team for a series of upcoming film shoots including both shorts and a feature-length project — beginning as soon as possible.
You’ll be working closely with filmmaker Stephan Seidel and a creative team across several upcoming projects.
About the Director:
The films are led by Stephan Seidel, a Berlin-based artist with a background in theater, now working in film. His work has been shown at Babylon Kino Berlin, Luru Kino Leipzig, and the Anchorage Museum.
His filmmaking draws inspiration from Bergman, Fassbinder, the Nouvelle Vague, and performance art with a focus on process, presence, and emotional truth. He works closely with actors, musicians, and collaborators in an intuitive, artistic way.
What We’re Looking For:
A DOP with a clear eye who can build an atmosphere visually responding to what’s unfolding in front of the lens
Someone comfortable working flexibly and creatively.
Location: Projects are based in Berlin, with some shoots planned in Potsdam and other nearby areas.
This is a passion-driven production still in its early stage, and rates depending on profile & experience, within the scope of an independent, no/low-budget production.
This is a chance to jump right in and shape the visual language from the ground up.
