THE FILM

A year after sur­vi­ving a school shoo­ting, a young woman tri­es to recla­im her life from the sto­ry ever­yo­ne else has made of her — while we con­front how quick­ly we turn peo­p­le into sto­ries.

A cha­rac­ter-dri­ven art­house dra­ma about per­cep­ti­on, con­tra­dic­tion and the nar­ra­ti­ves we crea­te about others, inten­ded for the fes­ti­val cir­cuit.

THE CONDITIONS

The pro­ject has a small bud­get, prio­ri­ti­sing good equip­ment and a well-fed crew.

The posi­ti­ons are unpaid, with con­tracts entit­ling each crew mem­ber to a per­cen­ta­ge of future film ear­nings, should the film gene­ra­te reve­nue.

As a pho­to­grapher, I’m also offe­ring a pro­fes­sio­nal portrait/​headshot ses­si­on after the shoot.
