Looking for Gaffer, Focus Puller and 2nd AC for the dffb film „The Rich Family“ (approx. 60min). Reshoots in Potsdam/Griebnitzsee on Sept 6, 13–14, and 27–28. Main shoot took place in 2023, now adding some key scenes and the ending. Student project (unpaid). Even single days of support would help – please reach out if interested!

Hello! I’m Josephine and I’m a filmmaker from Berlin!
I’m currently working on a film project inspired by real events in Romania during the late 1980s and early 1990s – the period around the fall of the Ceaușescu regime. The focus is on the experiences of children and families who were directly affected at that time.
I’m looking to speak with people who either lived through that period themselves or whose parents or relatives were in Romania back then. My aim is to hear personal memories, impressions, and feelings – not official history, but real, human perspectives.
All conversations will, of course, be treated with full confidentiality. This is not about sharing private details publicly, but about gaining a deeper understanding of that time so it can be portrayed authentically and respectfully in the film.
If you know someone – or are yourself willing – to share what it was like back then, I’d be truly grateful to hear from you. Every story, big or small, matters.

Spielauto gesucht🙏

Liebe Studierende,
für einen Abschlussfilm der Konrad Wolf Uni Babelsberg suchen wir noch ein Spielauto . In der Szene wird die Mutter unserer Hauptfigur von einem Taxi/ Uber abgeholt. Wenn ihr oder jemand den/die ihr kennt ein Auto hat, das als uber durchgeht, würden wir es uns sehr gerne ausborgen. Am Set brauchen wir es am 20.&27.8. abends. Weil es ein Uniprojekt ist gibt es leider keine Gage, wir können aber Catering und eine nette Zeit am set bieten. Bei jedem Hinweis schreibt mir unter:

ich bin Daniella (21) und arbeite bei einer Produktionsfirma. Neben meinem Studium in Anthropologie & Filmwissenschaft verbringe ich dieses Jahr so oft wie möglich am Set – mit dem Ziel, Regie an der DFFB zu studieren und den Drehalltag hier aus nächster Nähe zu erleben.

Hab letztes Jahr einen eigenen Kurzfilm “Sort Of Like A Bird” gedreht, der aktuell in Postproduktion liegt.
Ich brenne dafür, noch mehr Einblicke in eure Projekte zu bekommen, besonders gerne als Script Supervisor oder AD– aber grundsätzlich freue ich mich riesig darauf, überall mit anzupacken, neue Bereiche kennenzulernen und das Team dort zu unterstützen, wo es am Set gerade brennt!

The newly founded Film Collective “FabrikFilm” – part of Kulturfabrik Moabit e.V. – is looking for a cast for our debut short film 21 Days.
About the project:
21 Days tells the story of two queer people who fall in love but have only 21 days to spend together. As they discover more and more how perfect they are for each other they also have to battle the question what will happen after the 21 Days. Will the foundation they are building be strong enough for a long-distance-relationship?
Andy (22)
Andy is an exchange student who has only 21 days left in Berlin before returning to her faraway home country to continue her life there. So far, her semester abroad has been rather lonely — due to her social anxiety, she has barely made any connections and has spent most of her time pursuing her passion: literary studies. When she meets Oskar, this changes drastically, and reality becomes more exciting than all her books have been.
It is mandatory that you can speak with an accent from a country far away from Central Europe (Australian, American, Russian, Chinese, etc. — you name it).
Oskar (23)
Born and raised in Berlin. He dreams of becoming a screenwriter but doesn’t dare to pursue that dream. Overall, he feels dissatisfied with his life in Berlin — the constant partying, the endless situationships, his for him meaningless studies — and doesn’t know what do to with him. Andy, who supports his talent and brings emotional depth and authenticity to his life, gives him a new perspective.
Sascha (25)
Sascha is Oskar’s best friend and his companion in Berlin’s party scene. As Oskar gradually distances himself from his old life — and thus from Sascha — Sascha realizes that maybe he has felt more for Oskar than just friendship.
Artist (any age)
Andy and Oskar meet an artist in the park who draws a portrait of the two of them. For this role, we are looking for someone who can draw portraits and also feels comfortable performing in front of the camera.
Unfortunately it is unpaid. But we wanna create a nice experience for you with a lot of oppurtunity to act and try things out. You should be proud of the finished product of hopefully see it being played at numerous filmfestivals.
As we are planning to shoot mostly on weekends the work would be compatible with a regular jobs you do during the week. The shooting will take place in Berlin.
